Marcia Gay Harden to Play The Librarian

Variety is reporting that Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden has booked a role headlining Juan Feldman's indie drama The Librarian , playing a mild-mannered librarian trying to start a new life for herself while touring Costa Rica.

Scripted by Joel Silverman and produced by Classic Films with Mano a Mano Films, the film which involves Harden's character suffering a midlife crisis as she explores Costa Rica with a "lothario and dime-store philosopher" she hired to take her around, will begin shooting in Costa Rica in July.

Feldman previously directed the short film "Keepsake" and the play "Accepting the Pale," as well as worked as an assistant director. He had this to say about the country where he'll be shooting his first feature-length film...
