Frank Darabont's L.A. Noir Adds Milo Ventimiglia

Milo Ventimiglia, best known for his role as Peter Petrelli on "Heroes", has signed on for Frank Darabont's upcoming period crime drama "L.A. Noir", Deadline reports. The pilot episode will be written and directed by Darabont and is being planned to become a regular series on TNT. The official synopsis is as follows:

L.A. Noir is the true story of a decades-long conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of L.A.�s criminal world.
