A couple of nights ago, ComingSoon.net was invited by Sony Pictures to attend the premiere and after-party for their new movie Men in Black 3 at the U.S.S. Intrepid--the connection being that Fleet Week takes place in New York City and Sony and the filmmakers wanted to do something to commemorate our Navy troops, many of whom were on-hand for the after-party.
Of course, we just assumed they were taking over the gift shop because we had never heard of the Intrepid being rented out for a movie premiere, but when we got there, we saw that the party had taken over almost the entire flight deck and surrounded the normal jets and helicopters on display there with all sorts of food stands and bars for the attending guests.
