Last month, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) himself announced that Paramount Pictures now has plans to move forward with a sequel to the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy . Just yesterday, director Adam McKay dropped a few hints about what fans can expect when Mr. Burgundy returns to the big screen and, today, he spoke with The Hollywood Reporter , revealing even more information about the highly-anticipated sequel.
"We're going to start next week actually," McKay says of beginning the screenwriting process. "We're going to hole up... Usually in a month and a half to two months we can come up with the full draft, like a rough vomit-y draft. Then, you know how it goes, the real work is in the re-writing, so then we just pound it for the next...
